- Amanda Falcone is a general assignment/state political reporter for the Record-Journal in Meriden, Conn. She has worked at the daily newspaper since 2005, and she is a member of the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists. Falcone has a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut, where she majored in journalism and sociology and minored in political science. She is originally from Coventry, RI.
